Legionella alert

The South Western Sydney Public Health Unit has recently been notified of three patients with Legionnaire’s disease, all of whom possibly had a common exposure in the south-west Sydney area. Legionnaire’s disease usually causes fever, chills, cough and difficulty breathing, and can lead to pneumonia. If you are concerned that you might have Legionnaire’s disease, you should see your GP or local emergency department for investigation and treatment.
