Heart Health Checks Now Available

We are pleased to announce that our practice is now offering Heart Health Checks.

This is a 30-minute appointment with your GP to assess your risk of heart disease and discuss ways to keep your heart healthy. Your doctor will review important factors such as blood pressure, cholesterol, lifestyle and family history. If you are 30 years and over you may be eligible for a Heart Health Check. To book your appointment, please call reception on 8303 2900 for further details.

Alix Women’s Health Now Open

We’re excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Women’s Health Clinic, just a couple of doors up from our main practice called Alix Women’s Health.

Our clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive care tailored to women’s health needs, including menopause support, lifestyle/ weight management, skin checks, reproductive health and much more.

Collection of your card details for telehealth appointments

Prepayment is required for some services including:

New patient appointments, telephone consultations, script or referral requests and non-Medicare card holders.

When you book your next Telehealth appointment, you may be prompted to enter your credit/debit card details into HotDoc before your consultation. This will hold your booking, and funds will NOT be deducted until after your appointment.

New Doctor – Dr Joseph Jabri

A warm welcome to our latest GP – Dr Joseph Jabri who has recently joined Fountain Street General Practice. Joe is working Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, as well as every 2nd Saturday.

Doctor Departures

Our fabulous Dr Alister Murray will be moving overseas with his young family later this year. Dr Alister will be greatly missed by both patients and all of the team here at Fountain St GP.

Dr Alister will continue with F2F appointments up until Friday 16th August.

Dr Simon Cowap will return from LSL at this stage. We wish Alister all the very best.
